China To Host Diecasting Expo in September 金属铸造博览会九月亮相中国
Sponsored by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, orga-
nized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineer- ing Society (FICMES) and co-organized by NürnbergMesse China, the 2013 Asia-Pacific Die-Casting Industry Exhibition (China Diecasting 2013) will be held September 16-18, 2013, at Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. China’s metalcasting industry continues to play a criti-
cal role in the success of the nation’s manufacturing sector through the production of high quality castings and support of key industry sectors. As an important segment of the larger metalcasting industry, the diecasting industry pro- duces over one-third of all metal castings. Today, hundreds of die casters manufacture thousands and castings ranging from automobile engine and transmission parts to intricate components for computers and medical devices. Products for all types of die castings will be shown, includ-
ing equipment, materials, EHS, software and publications. Supported by international partners, a Development Forum will offer technical papers on research and development initia- tives and a range of die casting business topics. Te show’s organizers are expecting over 9,000 visitors and 220 exhibitors in the 14,000 sq.m exhibition area. See

The 2012 China International Die- casting Congress hosted more than 150 exhibitors from China, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the U.S., Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and more than 6,700 visitors.
中国金属铸造行业致力于为蓬勃发展的相关行业生 产高质量的铸铁产品，将迎来新一轮的发展契机。压铸 业作为大型金属铸造业的重要组成部分，为整个铸造业 生产了1/3以上的铸造件。今天，全球有数千家压铸厂 家，为汽车引擎、零件、复杂的计算机和医药设备生产 上千种铸造产品。
该盛会由中国机械工程学会主办，由中国机械工程学 会铸造学会(FICMES)及Nürnberg Messe China共同承 办。该盛会将于2013年9月16-18日在广东现代国际展 览中心举办。
除各种压铸产品而外，该展会还将展出压铸设备、材 料、EHS、软件和相关出版物。此外，在展会国际合作 伙伴的鼎力支持下，该展会还将发布技术论文，深入探 讨业内最近科研成果，并举办相关论坛，供业内人士交 流会晤。

Handover at ZPF ZPF公司管理层变更
On March 31, a planned change of boards was carried out at the ZPF Group and its companies. Holger Gross, who took over leadership of the company group three years ago as interim manager, handed over all his duties to Tomas Martensmeier, who previously built up and success- fully led the facility in China. Martensmeier is relocating to Germany to take over the
responsibilites for the entire ZPF Group. Changes that have taken place at ZPF under the management of Gross include internationalization and the consequent positioning as a system provider, which turned the company into an approved strategic partner in the automotive industry within the last few years.
