technology specialist I.A.S. Induktions-Anlagen+Service GmbH, Germany. “I.A.S. is an ideal complement to our product spectrum,”
said Andreas Seitzer, managing director of Elotherm. “We can now offer our customers both induction heating systems for isothermal extrusion and the corresponding sys- tems for melting, as well as the traditional spectrum offered by Elotherm with systems for induction hardening, heating and welding.” I.A.S. will continue business operations under its own name.

Hunter, Schaumburg, Ill., has announced the sale of an XL 2430 molding machine to Skeppshult Gjuteri AB, a cast iron foundry in Skeppshult, Sweden. Te foundry, located on the Nissan River in southern Sweden, is the last remaining cast iron cook- ware production facility in Scandinavia. Skeppshult cookware and other household items carry a 25-year guarantee owing to the quality of materials, produc- tion and craftsmanship provided by this manufacturer. Te Hunter XL 2430 is used at Skeppshult Gjuteri AB for the production of sand molds.
