From Table 6 it can be seen that the factors for tensile
strength rank as follows: resin addition, environmental humidity, sand grain size, ash content, and curing agent addi- tion from strong to weak. To verify the accuracy of the tensile strength regression
analysis, the best subset method was used. Te results are listed in Table 7.
By using the best subset method main factors for tensile
strength are ordered as resin amount, ash content, ambient humidity, sand grain size, which agrees with the multiple stepwise regression. Terefore, the multiple stepwise regression is verified.

由上表结果可得出抗拉强度结果影响大小因素依次为: 树 脂加入量、环境湿度、型砂粒度、灰分、固化剂加入量。 为了验证抗拉强度回归分析的准确性, 用最佳子集法进 行核实, 结果表7所示。
采用最佳子集法得到抗拉强度主要影响因素依次为树脂加 入量、灰分、环境湿度、型砂粒度, 结果与多元逐步回归所 得结果基本一致, 验证了抗拉强度逐步回归结果是准确的。
